The Eybler Quartet is celebrating its 20th anniversary this season and what better way to mark the occasion than to feature Haydn’s epic Op. 20 quartets throughout the year! These groundbreaking works are Haydn’s musical declaration that the the string quartet - at that time a relatively new ensemble - could be a vehicle for the whole range of human emotion.
