The Sociedad Filarmónica de Lima presents the Eybler Quartet as part of the Temporada 2024 Festival.

This unique program is drawn from works found in the library of Pedro Ximenes Abrill Tirado (1780-1856). Born in Arequipa, Peru Ximenes spent most of his professional life in Bolivia. Our program includes works by Haydn, Pleyel, Beethoven, Mozart and of course Ximenes himself. We are joined by guest violost Cristina Prats Costa for Ximenes’ String Quintet, Op. 38, and Mozart’s Quintet in E flat major, K. 516.
