Mozart is today accepted as a pillar of the musical canon, but in his lifetime he was another working musician, another brick in the wall, so to speak. He enlivened the musical conversation as a performer and composer. He was both influenced by his colleagues and he and his work directly influenced others. This program explores the impact Mozart had on two younger musicians, Joseph Leopold Edler von Eybler in Vienna and Hyacinthe Jadin in Paris.
