The Banff Centre presents the Eybler, Zeehelden, and Bergamot Quartets, as well as Quartet121 and ‘cellist Leah Plave. The concert features the world premiere of Paul Wiancko’s Ode on a Broken Loom (2019), performed by the Eybler Quartet; the world premiere of Njo Kong Kie’s Amplify HK performed by Quartet121; Joseph Haydn’s Quartet Op. 76, no. 4 in B-flat major, performed by the Zeehelden Quartet; the world premiere of Yoav Chorev’s Sham Yesh performed by the Bergamot Quartet; and Zosha di Castri’s Annsi de Suite featuring ‘cellist Leah Plave.
